I'd love for you to give it a try! I always think bread-making looks intimidating, but once you get into the swing of it, it's very easy. There is a certain rhythm to it, but I find it to be such an enjoyable and mindful activity. Give it a try, even if it goes completely wrong, there's not much that bunging the end result in a toaster won't help!
I get that! It's not helped by the whole sourdough movement, don't get me wrong the bread is amazing but it can feel like a mountain to climb. The thing with bread is it can be as simple and as complex as you like :)
Yes that’s true about the sourdough movement - sort of overcomplicates it all. Funny that bread is such a simple, everyday item that once would have been baked daily without thought and now it’s more strange to bake it yourself than buy it!
This sounds delicious. I’ve never made bread entirely by hand, from scratch but might have to give it a go!

I think it’s intimidation that puts me off but definitely need to give it a go!

I can almost taste it! Thank you for the recipe. I have one other recipe from you - the Squash Gratin and it is amazing!
Ooh, you’ve made me want to start making my own bread. I duno why I usually put it off! 🍞✨🙌🏼
