Since you’re a creative, I’m going to suggest a great journal of sorts my therapist suggested to me.
It’s called «Wreck This Journal» and it’s available on Amazon. It’s not the typical journal where you write down your thoughts. Nor do you have to do the activities I’m a particular order. It’s pages of things where maybe all you do is scribble. Another, you stick nothing but the stickers on fruits and vegetables. It gives simple, fun activities when maybe life is feeling overwhelming. For me, it takes me back to childhood when all I needed was a piece of paper and a pen/pencil.
Thank you for sharing all of that. With the world going through its changes and upheavals it is requiring all of us to dig deep and really feel and that can be really uncomfortable and the more we connect to who we really are and deepen our connection to nature which is the true governor on this beautiful earth, the more the mind screams for attention because we are not our minds. The mind is attached to all that we are not and it doesn't want to lose its power. But our heart mind, our heart connection whispers its guidance to us and there you will find you are so strong Jack. I love your writing and your sharings and how you and Gabbi are navigating living and being young parents. Wishing you both and the little one a wonderful years turning and a new one filled with inspiration and love
Hang in there Jack, admitting you are struggling is sometimes more than half the battle. You guys always seem so supportive of each other and that is really important. Lovely to see a pic of little Joe! I will look forward to following your adventures this year.
Happy New Year and thank you for your vulnerability in sharing. Mental health struggles can be the toughest of all and you must all have summoned a lot of bravery to navigate them as a family, and now to share some of that with the world. I love reading your notes, they always bring me so much joy. We live in Australia so my seasons are opposite to yours, and there’s something special about the way your writing summons up the season opposite to the one I’m in - it reminds me of everything that’s special about each season and makes me look forward to ‘your’ season rolling my way in a few months time. Thank you for your writing, I know it isn’t always easy to make it happen, especially when you feel low, but please know you bring a lot of joy through what you do xx
Sending warmest wishes to your lovely family. Dearest Jack I hope that in the days and weeks ahead you are able to find that precious inner stillness that allows you to simply be. You are worth it. Bless you all.
Happy New year to you all.
Looking forward to seeing you in2026
Take care and stay safe 🥳🎊🎉🙂
